On the DA logo it states that the DA was First Founded in 1910 and from reading the 1928 minutes, the DA was formally re-formed at a meeting held on the 28th Sept 1928.
Records show that the DA was re-formed at a meeting in Harrogate attended by over 80 adult members with Mr Moorhead in the chair, who was then duly elected the first chairman in the post war era.
